The player who earned two letter tokens during the final round is declared the winner. Even if it's technically a tie!

Is there a limit to the number of cards you can have in hand?

There is no limit to the number of cards you can hold, but be careful: the more you take, the smarter you'll need to play to win!

Does the game end immediately when the condition is met?

The game ends as soon as a player wins their 4th Letter token. You can always finish the round to determine the second place if there's a tie!

Does the 1/5 card have to be played first?

Each round, the player that has the 1/5 starred card in hand begins the round. This card does not need to be played first. Start with any card(s) of your choice.

dnup rounds are very fast paced. You should count about 10 minutes per round with 4 players or more.

Is there a different setup depending on the number of players?

Yes, the number of cards varies depending on the number of players. To make sure you have the correct cards, refer to the rulebook.

Is the game suitable for families?

What age can you start playing dnup?

From 8 years old.

What happens if I have two single cards in hand at the end of a 2-player round?

When I place my last card(s) in my Zone 2, if I had a sequence of the same size in Zone 1, it comes back into my hand and I have not finished the round.

In a 2-player game, can you retrieve cards that you have just played in zone 2?

The rule states that you can only take cards from one opponent. If you want to retrieve a set you just played but face down, make sure to put it face up by clashing it with a set of higher value!
